Sex Ed in Higher Ed

College instructor teaching human sexuality rants about the dumbing down of America, the lost art of manners, grammar and (the perfect combination of both) the thank you note. Also includes random rants about life, pet peeves, and sometimes raves about favorite things.

The Happiest Day in all the Land!

And finally, because Teacher Lady and Mr. J. had been very good, and had hoped and waited for so long, their Fairy Sinkmother felt sorry for them. Even though they hadn't finished painting, while they were sleeping, she brought them the most beautiful kitchen sink they had ever seen. And they danced and cheered and the whole village came to see it and rejoice in their happiness. And the evil, ugly, awful, hateful basement utility sink was banished to the Dark Forest and was never seen or heard from again. And they lived happily ever after. The End.

yes it's a very purdy sink, now go make J do the dishes for his sippy cup comment :)

That is downright beautiful, and the story was good too.

Are you going to be like that lady on the commercial who throws a lavish dinner party but makes her guests eat off of paper plates because she doesn't want dishes and water in her sink?

Remodels are like birth, you sorta forget how painful it was after it's over.

after rereading my previous comment I thought to myself that it sounded kind of snippy. I 't was intended to be funny, sorry. The kitchen looks awesome and I love the red.

Oh, it's fantastic! Clever set-up, too. :)

My kitchen is looking a bit hateful right now...perhaps I can summon the Fairy Sinkmother, too?

Very nice! Excellent color choice if I do say so myself. ;) Enjoy having a real, honest to goodness sink meant for nothing but leftover food remnants!

I would absolutely love to use your counter tops. It's like this: sipping a glass of wine, using your counter space to chop, and using that beautiful sink to fill a pot with water for pasta. We could invite Shrek, if J would allow the mess, and all the other friends of Fairy Sinkmother and have a real party!

Looks smashing!!
